In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars.

With the win, Bancroft-Rosalie improves its record to 11-16 on the season. The Panthers travel to Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, October 20. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 7-23. Tekamah-Herman won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Madison (Madison, NE)

The Cougars now own a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mead for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 21. Lyons-Decatur Northeast will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Falls City (Falls City, NE). The Raiders record now stands at 11-18.
