In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Winnebago Indians.

The Cougars (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Madison, NE). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-15 record. In their last challenge, Madison lost by Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.
