The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars (Lyons, NE) and the visiting Madison Dragons (Madison, NE), saw Lyons-Decatur Northeast's volleyball squad notch a victory over Madison by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Lyons-Decatur Northeast improves its record to 7-11 on the season. The Cougars host Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE) to meet the Knights in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 2. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 18-6. Oakland-Craig won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE)

Next, the Dragons meet the Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Madison will attempt to move on its 0-17 season record.
