Basketball Game Preview: Twin Valley Raiders vs. Governor Mifflin Mustangs

The Twin Valley Raiders will head out on the road to square off against the Governor Mifflin Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Twin Valley came up short against Cocalico and fell 48-35. The Raiders have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Governor Mifflin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 51-47 to Cedar Crest.

Governor Mifflin has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Twin Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Twin Valley might still be hurting after the 57-32 defeat they got from Governor Mifflin in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Twin Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
