Softball Recap: Fort Dodge Now 9-3 over Last 12 Games

Fort Dodge never let their opponents score on Monday. They came out on top against the Ames Little Cyclones by a score of 3-0. The game was the first time the Dodgers have beaten the Little Cyclones on their field since June 29, 2023.

Fort Dodge has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ames, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-10.

Fort Dodge has already played their next contest, an 8-2 loss against Ankeny Centennial on the 1st. As for Ames, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Gilbert on the 1st.
