Softball Recap: Raymond Central Comes Up Short

Raymond Central lost against NEN back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs lost 10-3 to NEN. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tess Roubal was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Dukesherer, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Raymond Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for NEN, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Raymond Central and NEN will both be playing Polk County the next time they take the field. NEN will host the Slammers at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
