Softball Recap: Normandy Comes Up Short

Normandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the McCluer North Stars, falling 18-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McCluer North, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Normandy will welcome Hazelwood East at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for McCluer North, they will challenge University City at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
