Softball Recap: Interlachen Takes a Loss

Belleview hit Interlachen with a five-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams lost 10-2 to the Rattlers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rattlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in March.

Interlachen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Davis, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Interlachen and nudges their season record down to 6-15. As for Belleview, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

Interlachen didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-3 loss against Menendez on the 22nd. As for Belleview, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Mount Dora on the 22nd.
