Softball Recap: Heritage Gets the Win

While Heritage's win against Regis Jesuit wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-11 victory over the Raiders on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Aubrey Kramp was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Sadie Neuman also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Heritage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Heritage's record is now 7-15. As for Regis Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Coming up, Heritage will host Ponderosa at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Regis Jesuit, they will head out on the road to challenge Castle View at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders are facing the Sabercats at the right time seeing as the Sabercats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
