Basketball Recap: Lake Norman Charter Starts Season with Win Against Mount Pleasant + How To Watch

Lake Norman Charter had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Mount Pleasant Tigers as they made off with a 75-54 victory.

Lake Norman Charter was led to victory by Collin McConneyhead and Kameron Davis. McConneyhead shot 54% from the field en route to 28 points, while Davis went 6-for-15 to rack up 15 points along with six steals and five assists. Those 28 points gave McConneyhead a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Carter, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lake Norman Charter won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Weddington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Pleasant, they will square off against Concord at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
