Softball Recap: Wayne Blue Devils vs. Ponca Indians

Mackenzie Nissen made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Wayne got a big performance out of Nyla Bolles, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Bolles has posted since back in October of 2024.
