Softball Recap: Fruita Monument Has No Trouble Against Thunderridge

Fruita Monument lost a heartbreaker the last time they played ThunderRidge, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's game. The Wildcats blew past the Grizzlies 14-2 on Saturday. Considering the Wildcats have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Fruita Monument moved to 6-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for ThunderRidge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Fruita Monument and ThunderRidge will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats will challenge rival Palisade at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, ThunderRidge is set to take on their familiar foe Legend at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
