Softball Recap: Palmer Takes a Loss

The Palmer Terrors came up short against the Florence Huskies on Tuesday, falling 23-2.

Malouma Cheikh made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and earned one run and three stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorena Perez, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Florence, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Palmer will square off against Doherty at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Florence, they have already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Burlington on the 5th.
