Soccer Recap: Poway Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Poway can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pacific Ridge Firebirds by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Titans couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for Poway and nudges their season record down to 12-6. As for Pacific Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Poway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pacific Ridge, they are taking a road trip to square off against Rancho Buena Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
