Softball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton lost against Odessa back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cardinals took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Odessa, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton will take on Pleasant Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Odessa, they will face off against Warrensburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.77 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
