Soccer Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hebron Christian Lions, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Lions are ranked 17th).

Stephens County's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Hebron Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stephens County will head out to challenge Winder-Barrow at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hebron Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against George Walton Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hebron Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.
