Softball Recap: Southeast's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was a good run, but Southeast unfortunately witnessed the end of their 15-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Putnam City North Panthers. The game marked the first time this year in which the Spartans were not able to get on the board.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Putnam City North, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-18 record this season.

Putnam City North wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-3 loss against Capitol Hill on the 22nd. Hopefully Southeast paid attention to the Panthers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
