Green Mountain had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Fairview Knights by a score of 14-9 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Green Mountain got a massive performance out of Dalilah Camacho, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Linnea Iversen was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Green Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of 1.407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairview only posted an OBP of .478.

Looking ahead, Green Mountain will head out to face off against Lakewood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairview, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-4 victory against Boulder on the 15th.
