Crossings Christian had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Carney on Saturday. The Knights were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Bulldogs. The Knights not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 22nd (when they won 14-0).

Crossings Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Carney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Crossings Christian has already played their next game, a 16-10 victory against Community Christian on the 8th. As for Carney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 win against Wellston on the 8th.
