St. Patrick has gone 8-2 against East Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Fighting Irish will face off against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. St. Patrick is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

St. Patrick's last matchup with Long Beach could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish were dealt a 63-33 defeat at the hands of the Bearcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Fighting Irish have suffered since December 27, 2024.

Meanwhile, East Central played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Faith Academy and fell 74-41. The Hornets were down 68-37 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

St. Patrick will need to focus on slowing down Trey Maryland, one of several East Central players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of K.J Hooks, who put up nine points.

East Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Patrick, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
