Baseball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast lost against Dublin last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Northeast came up short against Dublin, falling 20-5. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Bryce Talley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Durham, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Dublin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Northeast will be playing in front of their home fans against Howard at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Northeast is facing Howard at the right time seeing as Howard is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Dublin, they will host Treutlen at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
