The Westview Knights will face off against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Westview: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Desert Sunrise has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Westview came up short against Agua Fria on Friday, falling 41-20.

The Golden Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Desert Sunrise's win came from a few key players Westview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ky'Jaun McCutcheon, who picked up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those three receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Trae Walker was another key player, throwing for 239 yards and four TDs on only 16 passes.

Desert Sunrise's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Kofa's QB won't forget Amare Williams anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Williams is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Another thorn in Kofa's side was Pharell Hollister, who made one tackle and defended one pass in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

Desert Sunrise's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Westview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
