Enfield posted their closest victory since April 10th on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ellington Knights, sneaking past 4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Enfield and bumps their season record up to 6-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Ellington, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5.

Enfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ellington, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against E.O. Smith/Tolland at 7:00 p.m.
