Northwest extended their postseason success on Thursday against Skutt Catholic. They came out on top against the SkyHawks by a score of 4-1. The victory was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on 27 straight.

Graclyn Simmons spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Libby Loman, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. Becca Dinkelman was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Northwest hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skutt Catholic struck out eight times.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Skutt Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-7.

As of now, neither Northwest nor the SkyHawks have any future games scheduled.
