Scranton Prep is 10-0 against West Scranton since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Scranton Prep Cavaliers will host the West Scranton Invaders at 6:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Scranton Prep has 12 straight victories, West Scranton has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Scranton Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Abington Heights, taking the game 41-33. The 41-point effort marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, West Scranton had to suffer through a 57-26 loss at the hands of North Pocono. While losing is never fun, the Invaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 549th, while the Trojans are ranked 125th).

Scranton Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for West Scranton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything came up roses for Scranton Prep against West Scranton when the teams last played back in January of 2023, as the squad secured a 78-16 win. Will Scranton Prep repeat their success, or does West Scranton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
