New Trier came out on top against Buffalo Grove on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Trevians took their contest against the Bison 5-2. The Trevians haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

New Trier's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Buffalo Grove, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, New Trier will take on Taft at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buffalo Grove, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Mundelein at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
