Softball Recap: West Monona Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

While West Monona's victory against Spencer wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans won by a run and slipped past the Tigers 4-3. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

West Monona's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Spencer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Coming up, West Monona will venture away from home to face off against CAM on Tuesday. As for Spencer, they will welcome Storm Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
