Softball Recap: Woodbine Comes Up Short

If Woodbine was feeling good fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Glidden-Ralston on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 4-1 to the Newell-Fonda Mustangs on Monday.

Woodbine's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Newell-Fonda, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Woodbine nor Newell-Fonda have any future games scheduled.
