Soccer Recap: North Cobb Comes Up Short

North Cobb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Roswell Hornets. The matchup was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for North Cobb it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Mauricio Dias, who's now up to eight this season.

North Cobb's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Roswell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Cobb will head out to take on Marietta at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. North Cobb's defense better be ready for this one: Marietta have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season. As for Roswell, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dunwoody at 8:00 p.m. on the 15th.
