Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piedmont). They blew past the Putnam City Pirates 15-1 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Piedmont's victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Putnam City, they moved to 5-25 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Piedmont beat the Pirates by a score of 13-0 later that day.
