Softball Recap: St. Joseph's Academy Takes a Loss

Fort Zumwalt North hit St. Joseph's Academy with a ten-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Angels lost 15-1 to the Panthers. The Angels have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Kennedy Byrne was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Elaina Albert also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

St. Joseph's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Fort Zumwalt North, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.
