Softball Recap: Southmoore Takes a Loss

Southmoore lost against Moore back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The SaberCats took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The SaberCats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaylee Baxter was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Southmoore's loss dropped their record down to 20-15. As for Moore, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southmoore will take on Edmond North at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Moore, they will challenge Choctaw at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
