Soccer Game Preview: Arleta vs. Monroe

The Arleta Mustangs will face off against the Monroe Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Arleta came up short against Marshall on Monday, falling 5-2. The loss was the Mustangs' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Monroe scored first but ultimately less than Verdugo Hills in their game on Friday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Dons: they've now lost seven in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Arleta fell to 1-1-1. As for Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-2.

Arleta beat Monroe 2-0 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Arleta repeat their success, or does Monroe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
