Norcross has gone 9-1 against Duluth recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Norcross has given up an average of 7.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Norcross' offense. They came up short against Fellowship Christian on Saturday, falling 16-0. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Duluth had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bears 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since February 24th.

Duluth saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Jackson, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Duluth's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-15. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Norcross, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-19.

Everything went Norcross' way against Duluth when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Norcross made off with an 11-0 victory. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
