Prospect has gone 3-0 against Gunderson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Prospect Panthers will take on the Gunderson Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Prospect's offense. They fell just short of Willow Glen by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Gunderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Lincoln. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1091st, while the Lions are ranked 464th).

Gunderson's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Prospect, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Everything went Prospect's way against Gunderson when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Prospect made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Prospect since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
