Football Recap: Bonner Springs Takes a Loss

Bonner Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Louisburg Wildcats, falling 21-0. The Braves lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 57-8 score last time.

Bonner Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Louisburg, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bonner Springs will face off against rival Tonganoxie on Friday. Meanwhile, Louisburg is set to square off against their familiar foe Eudora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
