It's playoff time, and Riviera Prep had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 66-54 victory over the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Santa Fe Catholic's loss came despite strong showings from Tate Darner and Toby Lane. Darner went 11-for-14 en route to 27 points and five boards, while Lane shot 55% from the field on his way to 19 points. Darner has been hot for a while, having posted 18 or more points the last 16 times he's played. Ethan Knox was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

Riviera Prep's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Santa Fe Catholic, with the defeat, they broke their 14-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-9.

As of now, neither Riviera Prep nor Santa Fe Catholic have any future games scheduled.
