Baseball Recap: Medfield Comes Up Short

The matchup between Medfield and Medway on Wednesday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Warriors came up short against the Mustangs, falling 17-4. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

Medfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Hurley, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Medfield's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Medway, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-5.

As of now, neither Medfield nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
