Troup County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Pickens Dragons 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Dragons on Tuesday, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

Troup County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 26 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Pickens, their loss dropped their record down to 32-7.
