Soccer Game Preview: James Logan vs. Freedom

The James Logan Colts will challenge the Freedom Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

James Logan took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Kennedy a 1-0 shutout. The Colts' winning goal came courtesy of Solis Valle.

Meanwhile, Freedom fell victim to Alhambra and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by just one goal.

James Logan is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those six games. As for Freedom, they now have a losing record at 4-5-2.
