Softball Recap: Whitesboro Comes Up Short

Whitesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coleman Wildcats.

Whitesboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Coleman, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Whitesboro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Tupelo on the 22nd. As for Coleman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Kiowa on the 21st.
