Harris County put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Houston County Bears. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Caroline Gatewood was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in September of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Gatewood wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Guthrey, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Ivy McCormick was another, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Harris County's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Houston County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Harris County will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Northgate at 5:00 p.m. As for Houston County, they will venture away from home to take on West Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
