Basketball Game Preview: Lower Merion Aces vs. Spring-Ford Rams

The Lower Merion Aces are taking a road trip to square off against the Spring-Ford Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Lower Merion lost to Garnet Valley on the road by a 59-40 margin. While losing is never fun, the Aces can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Jaguars are ranked 13th).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Clara Rendle, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Mamo, who had five points.

Meanwhile, Spring-Ford was beaten by Perkiomen Valley 61-27 on Monday. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lower Merion's record now sits at 14-10. As for Spring-Ford, their record is now 18-7.
