Baseball Game Preview: E.O. Smith/Tolland Bucks vs. Enfield Eagles

The E.O. Smith/Tolland Bucks will head out to square off against the Enfield Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, E.O. Smith/Tolland turned things around against Ellington on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Knights a 1-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bucks have posted since April 6th.

Meanwhile, Enfield sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Ellington on Wednesday.

Enfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for E.O. Smith/Tolland, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

E.O. Smith/Tolland was able to grind out a solid victory over Enfield in their previous matchup back in April, winning 9-4. Will the Bucks repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
