It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Benedictine ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Ware County Gators. With that victory, the Cadets brought their scoring average up to 2.6 goals per game.

Parker Lewis and Christopher Woods scored all four of Benedictine's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Benedictine now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ware County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Benedictine has already played their next game, a 1-1 defeat against Hilton Head Island on the 25th. As for Ware County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-2 win against Wayne County on the 25th.
