Softball Recap: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Southwest DeKalb Panthers
Chamblee extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 11-12. They lost 11-3 to the Southwest DeKalb Panthers. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Panthers since Monday.
Madison Jones was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.
As for Southwest DeKalb, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.2 runs.
On Southwest DeKalb's side, Makayla Dixon made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched.
