Baseball Recap: First Preparatory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for First Preparatory Christian Academy's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders on Thursday. The Highlanders have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

First Preparatory Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Streeper, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Looking ahead, First Preparatory Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Monday against Vidalia Heritage Academy at 4:30 p.m. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Frederica Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
