Soccer Recap: Franklin Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Edison Vikings by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Yellowjackets, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Loriauna Thongdee and Janelli Villagran scored all three of Franklin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 37 goals.

Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-0 win against Chavez on the 16th. As for Edison, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Stagg on the 16th.
