Basketball Recap: Reynolds Comes Up Short

Reynolds lost against Mercer back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Reynolds Raiders were beaten by the Mercer Mustangs 62-34. The Raiders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Reynolds' record is now 2-7. As for Mercer, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-7 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reynolds will host Farrell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Reynolds is facing Farrell at the right time seeing as Farrell is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Mercer, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sharpsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Mercer: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Sharpsville has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
