Sussex Central is 8-2 against Caesar Rodney since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Golden Knights fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 23-21 on Friday. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Golden Knights couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Caesar Rodney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 22-17 heartbreaker at the hands of Smyrna.

Caesar Rodney's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Sussex Central, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
